Maybe (Smile and a Bullet, 2015)

How do you know when it starts to go? Do your feelings show? Can you just let go? Watch the rain hit the pavement hard but you look to the sky the night so dark.

How do you know when it starts to go? in your head, all you see is no?

When it’s right, it just goes away, your heart wants to say, “OK.”

You know how it feels when you can’t stop waiting for the phone to ring once more You know how it feels cuz all you wanna do is keep laughing on the floor

You know how it feels just right when you’re head over heels even though you swore You’d never feel this way again...

It’s four (o’ clock) in the morning, and we’re still awake

You’re so afraid of jumpin’ cuz it’ll be a mistake

How do you know it’s meant to be? I guess we’ll have to just wait and see

    So... maybe.

How do you know? Does it take a while? Can you see the change, even in my style? I don’t know but the other night in your arms so tight made me smile and smile.

How do you know when it starts to brew? When all I can think about is the truth?

I think it happened the moment that I opened my eyes lying next to you.

It’s five (o’clock) in the morning, and we’re still awake

I’m so afraid of jumpin’ cuz it’ll be a mistake

How do you know it’s meant to be? I guess that’s up to you and me. So just... maybe. We’ll have to wait and see...

We’re good team together; like a needle and thread.

We could talk for hours, nothing left unsaid, never

been here before but I’m likin’ it more than you could ever imagine in your head

You know how it feels when you can’t stop waiting for the phone to ring once more You know how it feels cuz the feelings are getting even harder to ignore

You know how it feels just right when you’re head over heels even though you swore You’d never feel this way again...

It’s seven o’ clock in the morning, and we’re still awake

We’re soakin’ up the sunrise and it can’t be a mistake

How do you know it’s meant to be? There’s a new day here for us to believe in.

    Maybe... Maybe... Maybe
